Exhibitions

15 March (Tuesday), 7 p.m., Credo Bonum Gallery, 2 Slavyanska Str. are the when and where of the start of “The Big Bang”, the first exhibition to take place in the renovated space of the Credo Bonum Foundation established by Tzvetelina Borislavova.

The closing years of the nineteenth century saw the European art undergoing a metamorphosis. This began in France, where Monet’s painting Impression, Sunrise (1872) became the image of international Impressionism and of modern art.

Monolandscape is not a genre but rather a condition associated with the emotional experience of the artist. It is a philosophical gazing into texture, into the material, into colour and their possibilities to bring to life this experience and turn it into a specific image.

The exhibition presents Borjana Vetzislavova’s latest project, which aims to gain public attention to the migration process in our time. This is a sequel to the 15-channel video installation “We Shall Overswim”

This Belgian artist has been renowned as one of the greatest innovators in European art from the end of nineteenth century.

The rhythm of modern times has subjected us to constant visual attacks. The dynamic shifting of images in our daily life has coarsened our senses and attentiveness.

This new exhibition from contemporary artists Ergin Çavusoglu and Konstantin Bojanov at EIBANK Gallery, Sofia, focuses on the role of music in communicating cultural identity.

The author of the unique graphic style “Graphicature”, Professor Ivan Gazdov, is again a guest artist at EIBANK Gallery with his newest exhibition.

For second time the famous Bulgarian sculptor presents a brand new project of his in the hall of EIBANK Gallery. Inspired by Valeri Stefanov’s novel “The Lost Donkeys” Pavel Koychev has worked on “The Carrier” a whole year.

The exhibition is organized jointly with the magazine “9 months” (“9 mesetza”). The photographs arranged in the gallery are actually the covers of the magazine for years 2005, 2006 and 2007 with the photos of babies-finalists at the competition “Your baby-star – now” on them.
