The goal of the project \u2013 co-sponsored by the Credo Bonum Foundation and the Sofia Municipality \u2013 is to raise interest in these unique monuments, to encourage a more responsible attitude towards Nature and Bulgaria&#8217;s historical heritage by setting up conditions conducive to cultural tourism. The foundation&#8217;s main activities focus on the improvement of existing and development of new links \u2013 walkways and bike lanes \u2013 between the churches and monasteries in the Sofia Sveta Gora, known previously only to passionate pilgrims and outdoor aficionados.
